who we are & where are we going
1 Timothy 4:12 – “Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”
We are all influenced by what we see, we want to model what it means to be righteous men, who don’t talk the talk, but walk the walk.
“The change you want to see, must first begin in you” We take this literally and thereby are focused on continuing the pattern of discipleship Jesus taught but investing in ourselves and in someone else. We can change the narrative of men, one man at a time.
We value conversations, which is at the heartbeat of what we do, we aim to tackle taboo subjects and revisit the necessary components of what it means to be a man.
“You will never grow beyond what you don’t apply”. We value growth, anything not growing is stationary or dying, we don’t want to be men who decline, but men who grow & become better. So, application is a crucial factor in this, we have sessions that leave you with relevant information for you to apply and witness change in your life.
Above all, we are a safe place, a community of men that gather together with a common goal to become better & be the change we want to see in the world. We’re open to all, come and be a part of a journey of discovering true manhood, having honest & life-transforming conversations and building genuine life changing relationships. We look forward to seeing you!
Our Model for Change
We have broken down the 4:12 concept into a principle which we demonstrate through our #MENSMONDAY weekly meeting:
Every member of 4:12MEN to imitate Christ’s disciplining 12 followers.
The 12 followers will disciple 12 followers, who we will also disciple 12 followers.
This pattern to be modelled throughout each generation, resulting in a legacy of at least 4 generations of disciples.
